    Frostwolf Clan
"The Frostwolf Clan lived the Old Horde long ago due to their demonic ways, and have been leaving peacefully hidden in the snowy Alterac Mountains since then. But few years ago, their Chieftain, Durotan, was murdered and his young son Thrall taken as prisioner by the humans of Durnhold. Recently, Grom Hellscream, leader of the Warsong Clan, released the young Thrall and sent the orc back to his safe home in the Alterac Mountains, there, Drek'thar, who had become the new chieftain, tougth him in the ways of the spirits and Thrall beame a great shaman. So powerful, than Orgrim Doomhammer came to his mountain village to duel him, once Thrall proved his new powers, Orgrim smiled and asked him to join with Grom to attack together a human internement camp and free the rest of the orcs. Thrall gladly agreed, and commanded part of his clan to the east, where he joint with the Warsong Clan of his saviour and together destroyed the humans in eastern Arathi. But was a bitter victory, Orgrim, the great and last Warchief of the horde, had died... In his honour, Grom settled his own clan in the ruins of the camp, calling it Hammerfall and both chieftains agreed to continue the war for freedom."

Frostwolf Clan starts splitted, with Drek'thar guarding their hometown in Alterac and Thrall commanding a Frostwolf army in Arathi to help Grom. You must hold alterac while you push to the west with Thrall, your Alterac base will be really important to backstab the alliance forces in Durnhold so you can cross Thoradin's wall from Arathi. If you manage to do so and conquer one or two internement camps, your faction will become really unstoppable.

    Heroes

    upload_2019-1-5_21-35-26.png
You will start with Drek'Thar in Alterac (right) and Thrall in Arathi (center), but you can get Nazgrel by conquering Southshore too. All your 3 heroes are revivable.

    Units

    upload_2019-1-5_21-36-59.png
Both clans, Frostwolf and Warsong, share some Horde units: grunt, archer, rider, elder, wyvern and demolisher. But then every one of them has some unique ones: Frostwolf Javalineer, Frostwolf and Frostwolf Shaman.

The orcs are really strong units, the best race in this map (except few ogres) and their roster is really balanced and powerful, both clans can fight pretty well alone, but they also complement eachother. You have nice mele and ranged units, good casters and the best "not-alliance" artillery.

    Events
Frostwolf Clan is able to conquer: Durnhold, Southshore and Hillsbrad, to release a bunch of orcs to boost your army.
If you conquer Soutshore you also get a hero: Nazgrel.
In future patches you will have the chance to accept the Blood Elves and Forsaken in the Horde.

Nice. but there is one problem whit your backstory. Grom did not save Thrall. Thrall did escape from Durnhold whit the help from Taretha Foxton.

Yes, but not "exactly". Thrall scaped from Durnhold thaks to Taretha, you are right, but he was nearly instantly captured again by the humans and sent to another internement camp. Thrall was alone and surrounded by humans, so he had no hope of scaping himself. But in that new internement camp, an old orc told him about "the great chieftain of warsong clan" and how he (Grommash) was figthing the humans and had the same goal as Thrall. THAT gave Thrall a new objective, a new hope, a reason to scape again. He left this new internement camp and ran to the wild, looking for Grom desperatly. Then, Grom found him, and inspired by his courage and determination, took him and "rescued" him, taking the young Thrall with himselft and taking him to his safe base, ensuring Thrall isnt captured once again. There, he taught him about the clans and, as i say in my backstory, he sent him with the Frostwolves.

So, yes, you are right, Taretha helped Thrall to scape from Durnhold. But he was instantly captured again and enslaved one more time. He only tried to scape again cause he was told about Grom, and he managed to trully scape and avoided being captured one more time, just cause Grom found him and took him to safety as puppil. If my bacstory suggests Grom rescued Thrall with brute force assaulting the camp that is wrong, yep, but Grom saved Thrall.

Here you have some lore if u dont trust me:

"Taretha created a diversion inside Durnholde Keep which allowed Thrall to escape from his cell unnoticed. They met up outside the fortress by a cave, and Taretha gave him provisions and supplies. He then left Durnholde, hoping to never return.

Thrall was captured and taken to an internment camp run by one Lorin Remka. It was here that he met an old orc with glowing red eyes named Kelgar, who told him of the corruption of Gul'dan, and how the old ways had been so much better for the Horde. He told him that the only one still thinking of embracing this was the undefeated Grom Hellscream, Chieftain of the Warsong clan. When another orc told Thrall that Blackmoore had arrived at the camp looking for him, Thrall escaped again and sought out Grom Hellscream.

After Thrall had found the chieftain and proving himself, Hellscream took Thrall under his wing, teaching him the Orcish tongue, and telling him that—based on the tattered swaddling cloth Thrall showed him — he was a part of the exiled Frostwolf clan."

"Then Grom had a young orc named Thrall seek him out. Inspired by Thrall's courage, strength and mercy, he accepted the young outcast and taught Thrall more of the ways of the orc nations. When the humans searching for Thrall got too close, Thrall left his side."

As you can see yourself, Thrall scapes thanks to Taretha, he is enslaved again, he notice about Grom, he scapes to find Grom, the humans chase him again, Grom saves him and takes him to safety, Grom starts to teach Thrall about clans, Grom clan continously moves in the wild to avoid humans, and when humans are too close to find Thrall Grom sends him to the Frostwolves so he can be safe and find his own people.

Anyway, the most important stuff is you like the map and the faction. And im really glad people who knows lore enters to comment about my map, so... Welcome and enjoy it! :-)

And i repeat to u that i may have not written it exactly in the faction summary :D. Grom may have not released thrall from the camps himself but grom took him once he scaped, and saved thrall from human trackers, hidding him with his tribe in the wild.

So Grom may have not released thrall from the camps, but he trully released him from human control and scape-hunting-slavery chain, wich soon would have ended With thrall killed. Grom saved thrall.

That is why when grom goes fel thrall does everything to save him and never loses hope, cause he owes him his life. And thats also why thrall empowers garrosh so much and is so permisive with him, since he feels him as family.

For thrall, in lore, grom is the migthiest hero of the horde. And his last sacrifice to save all his clan, kind and horde is the pure representation of what means honor for the horde.
