House Barov "The House Barov is a rich family of lordaeron, their main keep is Caer Darrow, an important fortress that have been inhabited since the Troll Wars. But Barov wealth comes from the west, from Vadermar, Brill, Southsore and Tarren Mill. When Therenas Menethil told Alexei Barov that he will set the orcs into internement camps, the great landlord quickly supported his king, since his lands had been ravaged during the second war and he tought that slave orcs will be really useful to recover his former wealth. But when he finally discovered the truth behind Therenas words, he was taken by wrath, that treacherous king had mocked him! He didnt intend to allow slave workers, on the contrary, he stablished new taxes to feed the orcs, and Alexei, as greatest landlord of Lordaeron would have too pay A LOT. Pay, to feed the orcs, what is this nonsense, humans won the war, the orcs should be the ones working for humans, not the contrary! Alexei was full of rage when a kind and wise man came to offer him a proposal he couldnt refuse: Alexei would allow him to teach and garrison his students and followers in his lands and holdings and him, Kel'thuzad, promised to overthrow the mad and treacherous Therenas and give the throne to Alexei. Of course, Lord Barov quickly opened his house to this noble wizzard..." House Barov starts with holdings in Tirisfal Glades, Hillsbrad and Darrowmere. You start really powerful, but surrounded by enemies, its your choice to try to hold all the lands, to focus in one or to strike in other places. Your goal is to buy time, since you start with a reduced human roster and your allies are weak and bussy. Once the CotD release the plague, your army will be really buffed and your allies strenght will help you to destroy Therenas once for all. Heroes Your main hero is Lord Alexei Barov (center), you start with him in Caer Darrow and u will choose where to move. Whenever you want, you can research "Rivendare Treason" to spawn him (right) in a town close to Stratholme with a small army. Also, if someone manage to kill Alexandros Mograine, you can rise him as hero, one of the strongest in game. These 3 powerful horsemen are revivable. Units You start with a reduced human roster, as noble of Lordaeron: Human infantry, archer, Barov Knight and Barov catapult. In addition to your elite unit, Barov Household guard. These army wont be enough to face the power of the alliance, specially since u dont have tools to deal with their heavy armored units. But once CotD release the plague, you will infect your own followers with it, increasing your roster with a good bunch of powerful undead units: Human Infantry turns into Undead Infantry, same for archers and Barov Knights. But you also will get access to Deathlords (former paladins that turn to the dark and started to destroy and corrupt Lordaeron, lore), Damned Mages, Lost souls, ghouls and vulture riders. Your army is the strongest of all undead armies, you are supposed to be the "bone" of an undead invasion, since you are the only one with a proper "army" with ur heavy armored undead humans. Events You control an internement camp: Southshore. If the horde manages to take it, they might be unstopable... Or a good distraction for the alliance, u decide what is better: hold the base or backtab lordaeron forces in Durnhold to help the orcs to invade Hillsbrad. Chaos is a lader. You can send Rivendare to plague a human town close to Eastweald, you can use this to backstab Eastweald and/or Silver Hand homelands, while they are focused elsewhere (like helping dwarves in Aerie peak or attacking u on Tirisfal). Or guard it till the moment in wich Stratholme event happens, to support Malganis in the fight. If you manage to conquer Stratholme, you will be able to send plagued grain to certain towns to start an undead invasion. If Alexandros Mograine dies, you can rise him as hero. Once plague is released you grealty improve ur army.
