Not me, but there are a lot of others who may experience problems
Sad, my Old Magni gone for ever.....
Sorry, the age of Random-Skill-Mashup Heroes is over.
The nerf on the ultimate hit me do hard
Btw, if Magni ever reaches high level and gets some decent items ... Is it intended that killing him with units will be impossible?
He seems like a very frustarting hero to stand against.
I like the effects of those spells but dislike the hero they belongss to, it doesnt fit him (the roles)
Because only someone who thinks it might lag you would post that, wc3 is a 13 yr old game only a shitty pc can't handle LTA. I know I had a shitty PC.
And cause lets be honest you didn't stop and think oh my what about all other people who have shitty pcs that won't be able to play after this patch? I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight.
It isn't necessarily about having a good PC or not. There are simply limits to what a 14 year old engine can handle, it certainly isn't capable of fully using new computer architecture, and really care should be taken to not overly strain it, beyond what LTA already does..
Still, as long as it's people tested in a few multiplayer games it should be fine.
The way this spell works is that it's using a knockback system and simply pushes units away. Every unit gets debuffed during the push and takes damage once it reaches its destination. The push ends prematurely if you hit an object, but you can get pushed behind other units. I tested it with 200 units (100 Dwarves, 100 DMZ) and faced no drop at all as the spell cleans itself up in 3 areas: on cast, on crossing the chosen distance and after dealing damage. This way it should remain lag-free. I also did not use any spell effects known for FPS drops like earthquake, thunderclap or warstomp.
@ilusioner uses a similar specs in CoV, though it's not as powerful as this, it doesn't seem to impact performance at all, thankfully.
Most items are over the top and will be scaled down to be more similar to things like what you have on Aethas Sunreaver for example. Minor buffs. Only uniquely named items will feature powerful effects like Helm of Dominator, Ashbringer, Book of Medivh etc. This also means Ironforge items will get hit.
