    Will you be prepared and plan your battles?

    You'll need to conserve your most important resources.
    Wood will be liimited resource on the map that cannot be gathered.

    Some powerfull creeps may have some resources stored on their own but this is limited.
    Elite units , buildings and the big guns will cost lumber.

    Will you lead your forces to lead outland or will will you blow your resources and your chance to become lord of outland.

    BE PREPARED!!!

    Unless you have a low wood cost for certain units, there isn't a real point to it. There were lumber operations on Outland. Even if they're mushroom trees, they still function.

    If there's a reason behind this, like the benches, even if it's small then I'll be able to see your point, but for now. . . Really?

    Yeah you said it correctly , elite units and siege and buildings have low wood costs.

    normale units use only gold

    But that still doesn't answer why Lumber can't be harvested.

    Is it a strategical thing?
