Ner'zhul "Ner'zhul was once a shaman of the orcs of Draenor, after Guldan lead the Horde to Azeroth and was defeated by the Alliance of Lordaeron, Ner'zhul was planing to open lots of portals from Draenor to several different worlds to plunder. That process destroyed his world and he was taken by the Burning Legion for his falliure. After being tortured and twisted by Sargeras and his liutenants, he has been sent to Azeroth to work for the Legion once again, this time as the Lich King, leader of a massive army of Undeads that will win where the orcs couldnt. But Ner'zhul power is so big, more now that he has turned into an undead spirit, that Legion has enslaved him inside a frozen ice diamond jail: The Frozen Throne. Not being sure with this, the nathrezim has forged a runic blade to contain part of Ner'zhul power and have it heavily protected in the Dragonblight, under the view of Ner'zhul migthiest jailor: Tichondrius. Being so controled and maimed, Ner'zhul has accepted to serve their masters, sending mental messages to great mages of azeroth to offer them power in exchange of undying loyalty, and starting to create a plage to corrupt all the livings. The first two steps of his crusade to enslave the living has started: the war of the spider agaisnt the nerubians is nearly ended, with the former great kingdom besieged and their last king, Anub'arak, as a puppet of Ner'zhul; the drakkari are being attacked by the undeads of the Legion; and the vrykuls has started to worship the Lich King as a god of dead. Once all the empires of Northrend has fallen, it will be the turn of the last conquest: mankind. And maybe a new puppet may be chosen among them, one powerful enough to release Ner'zhul of his chains..." You start really weak, with just lands in Icecrown. But your power will increase fast as hell, your main task is to join all the vrykul tribes under your banner, to get power enough to destroy the Drakkari and force Arthas into the dark side. You can use Ner'zhul powers to help your armies in battle, making Northrend your best spot to fight, to invade Lordaeron you may need the help of your undead allies from inside, so your vrykuls armies can do the final strike in case of need. But before going far away you first need to erase the Drakkaris of the continent, since you would like to have your core safe, to dont see Icecrown easily sieged and the Frozen Throne destroyed. Units Your army is made of Vrykuls, the ancestors of humans. Taller than a human and sturdier than a dwarf, this protohumans might duel an orc in combat. They are great warriors and hunters, and use worgs and Mammoths in battle. Their Thanes are mighty warriors eager to obtain a noble dead and runic casters support their troops. Some of them have been trained in the necromancy in Gjalebrond and Utgarde. But maybe your most important tools for victory are your Frost Wyrms, the best flying unit ingame, a terrifying beast that can be empowered even more if u manage to corrupt the dragonshrines in Dragonblight; and the Valkyr, vrykul females who has been chosen to become the maidens fo the Lich King, they will judge the vrykul warriors in dead, the worhty will turn Ymirjar and the weak will become varguls. All necromancers can rise the same kind of undeads, here you can see them all: elven, human, dwarf, troll, orc, nerubian and ogre. But Nerz'hul has 2 unique undeads as we have told before: Ymirjar (left), the elite guard of the lich king, and Vargul (right), undead vrykul fierce soldiers. Heroes You start with Anub'Arak, the fallen king of Azjol Nerub. He will lead your armies across Northrend to unify the vrykul clans under your banner, after you do researches in Ymirheim, Jotunheim, Gjalebrond and Utgarde, you will be able to get Ymiron (left), leader of the Dragonflayer Clan and Fallen King of the vrykul, one of the strongest warriors of Azeroth. They both are revivable. Your third hero is Arthas, fallen prince of Lordaeron, to be able to rise him among the deads, you need to force his defeat in his duel, or at least, make him to take frostmourne to be able to make his revenge on Malganis. Events You can do researches about slumbering vrykuls in Ymirheim, Jotunheim, Gjalebrond and Utgarde. Once you have enough knowledge, Angerboda will awaken his husband: Ymiron, king of the vrykuls, as your hero. You can get Arthas as hero if he loses his duel or wins it with frostmourne. Your flying units are buffed if you corrupt the dragonshrines of the dragonblight. Fallen vrykuls are judged to become Ymirheim or Vargul, whatever they end turning it means free troops for your army. Ner'zhul can use his powers even jailed inside the frozen throne, use them to secure Northrend.
