    Things of note:
    - UI has been decoupled from the game as a whole, meaning that it's fully moddable now - you can now adjust all the bits of it as you wish, for example completely remove the minimap part of the UI if you feel like it or moving it around the screen and such
    - LAN will be kept intact
    - Purists will be able to use all the old wc3 stuff - UI, models, sounds, everything that's the way it is right now will be kept
    - There will be ladder balance changes in both WC3 and WC3R once it's out
    - As repeated in a couple other interviews, they kept the same (but rebuilt) engine because "the core needs to be there". Another engine would be too much of a fundamental change to the game.
    - The community tools for mapmaking, model making and texturing will be (hopefully) released before WC3R itself so that there will be maps in WC3R quality on Day 1.
    - WC3R will have the spectator mode available, allowing people to watch games. It'll be available for ladder games, not sure if custom ones as well.
    - There will be a BIG, BIG patch in February/Early Spring that'll address the biggest tech hurdles they currently have. Massive improvements to editor will be added in this patch.
    - No word on physical copy yet, but there may be future announcements about it.
    - There will be a beta for WC3R to ensure that everything goes smooth and some 'course correction' happens in case any is needed.
    - Night Elves will be shown ASAP.
    - They're focused on getting current stuff right and are not working on additional content as of now but they don't eliminate the possibility of adding the 5th race in.
    - There'll be forum polls regarding smurfs and such as they can't decide on their own.
    - No final decision on what ladder is gonna look like in terms of ranking up etc.
    - No plans for Co-Op atm.
    - The teaching systems and guides will be improved and added for newcomers. Their final shape isn't decided yet.
    - Not all the assets were finished for Blizzcon. The tilesets weren't final and were just up-ressed. They'll look much better than what we've seen.
    - It is possible to extend the 12 unit limit, but it's also a matter of whether community wants it or not. An idea of traditional ladder was considered for things like that.

    @Marshmalo The editor improvements sound hot to me.

    Still tho you should able to severely reduce that if you reduce unit collision. You will still have trouble with attack orders cause I think they way the engine calculates attack order pathing for large armies is pretty retarded or just the engine is trash for Big armies hence why you lag badly. Apart from that it should be good. I wonder if there are other ways of reducing unit lag as well?

    They probably re-voicing all the game to keep synchronicity and probably mutilate translations of the rest of languages, reforged is not only the graphics have a lot of work. It is not good that Blizzard says more about what they are planning because in the SC: remastered, they said some things never come true. Example: translation of all the cinematics of the game to all the languages.
